The method to judge whether the brake drum should be replaced is:
1. Observe that the thickness of the brake drum is only one-third of the original thickness;
2. There is an abnormal sound when lightly braking;
3. The brake response is slow and the braking force is weakened.
The brake drum is composed of a rotating part, a fixed part, an actuating part and a positioning adjustment device. The method to replace the brake drum is:
1. Lift up the car and remove the tire;
2. Unscrew the fixing screws on the brake cylinder and remove the brake cylinder;
3. Remove the old brake drum and push back the brake cylinder piston;
4. Clean the mounting bracket of the brake disc and install the new brake drum.
